1. Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using Localing, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement under applicable Indian law. A parent or guardian must supervise use by anyone who is not legally competent to contract.
If you use Localing for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.
2. Accounts and mobile verification
Some features require a verified mobile number. You are responsible for information submitted through your account, keeping your device secure and notifying Localing promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Never share an OTP, password, UPI PIN or authentication credential. Localing may ask you to verify your identity again for security, inactivity, device changes or sensitive actions.
3. Seller access and verification
Seller access is not automatic. Applicants may need to provide identity, Aadhaar, business registration, tax or supporting documents. Localing may approve, reject, suspend or request more information at its discretion and as permitted by law.
Approval indicates completion of Localing's platform review at that time. It is not a government certification, guarantee of quality, creditworthiness, legality or future conduct.
4. Businesses, offers and content
Sellers must keep business details, location, availability, prices, media, offer terms and contact information accurate. Content must not be misleading, unlawful, unsafe, infringing, discriminatory or deceptive.
Localing may moderate, reject, remove, limit or archive content. Buyers remain responsible for reviewing the listing and confirming availability, suitability and final terms directly with the seller.
User content licence
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Localing a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format and display that content only as reasonably needed to operate, promote and improve the service.
5. Reservations, direct payments and subscriptions
A reservation records interest and may help a seller organise fulfilment. Unless explicitly confirmed by the seller, it does not guarantee stock, price, delivery or service.
Where Localing opens a third-party UPI application, payment is made directly between buyer and seller. Localing does not receive or store your UPI PIN and is not the seller, payment service provider or guarantor of the underlying transaction.
Seller subscriptions or paid promotion may be processed through an authorised payment gateway. Applicable price, duration and benefits are shown before payment. Additional cancellation and refund terms appear in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Localing, scrape or reverse engineer the service, bypass security, impersonate another person, submit fraudulent reviews, send spam, manipulate rankings, interfere with location systems or use the platform for unlawful goods or services.
7. Intellectual property
The Localing name, brand, interface, software and original site content are owned by or licensed to Localing. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
8. Disclaimers and limitation
Localing provides a discovery and communication platform. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, listing accuracy, seller performance, product quality or transaction outcome.
Localing is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
9. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to reimburse Localing for losses resulting from your unlawful use, content, breach of these Terms or infringement of another person's rights.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Localing and request account deletion. Localing may restrict or terminate access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or enforce these Terms. Certain records may be retained for security, disputes, accounting or legal obligations.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with lawful jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer dispute rights. Please contact support first so we can try to resolve the issue promptly.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect product, legal or operational changes. The effective date will be updated and material changes may be communicated through the service.
